Utah Arts Alliance Recording Arts Program / Recording Studio Grand Opening

The Utah Arts Alliance is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their new Recording Arts
Program and full service recording studio, Midnight Records, on Friday January 4th, from
6:00 – 11:00 p.m., at 127 S. Main St, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111.
The event is open to the public free of charge and will include an opening reception for
a visual art exhibit by Salt Lake City artist, John Bell, THE SOUND AND THE FURY – Heros,
Outlaws, Madmen and Fools, including limited edition prints and new works on paper.
In addition, live music performances will be presented throughout the evening by area artists,
Michael Lucarelli, Marv Hamilton, Seraphim, and the Purr-Bats, plus studio tours and refreshments.
Midnight Records forms the hub of the Utah Arts Alliance’s Recording Arts Program.
Centrally located and available by TRAX, we provide affordable recording services to anyone with the
desire and talent to make great sound recordings. From students to emerging artists and seasoned
professionals, we can help w/ your recording needs.
Studio services include 24 channel sound recording, mastering, CD duplication, videotaping and DVD
production. Studio personnel are Recording Arts Program Director Kent Rigby, Associate Director,
James Douglas, Ian Rigby, videotaping and DVD production, and Calvert Cruz studio technician.

The Utah Arts Alliance is a 501c3 non-profit arts group with a wide range of visual and performing
arts programs.
